I’ve taken my 2018 Audi S5 Prestige to Cartender twice now. First time was when my car emptied its oil in my garage due to a faulty oil sensor seal and the second time was for my cylinders mis-firing. Both repairs were extensive and took multiple days but what i love about Cartender is their personable, thorough experience when you get the car checked in. The service techs (Rob and Paolo) are super friendly and John is very knowledgeable. Best part is that he doesn’t get too technical but breaks things down to digestible bites so you’re not lost in the areas of repair based on the cost you want to spend on your vehicle. One of the most honest shops I been in and if you care about your car then you’ll appreciate some honesty when it comes to the repairs as they can get costly! They don’t force you on any of the repairs once the inspection and quoting is done so it’s really up to you to decide what repairs you want. You really have to experience the shop for yourself in order to understand how they work. It’s like your best friend working on your car! They’re so awesome!

I live in North Carolina and this car I wanted to get inspected is in Washington which is across the country. I had choose the $450 Pre-Purchase Inspection and couldn’t be happier with the experience. The inspection was incredibly thorough, and the detailed report gave me full confidence in the car. Rob’s and the Techs communication throughout the process was amazing—any picture I needed, he stepped outside to get, and any question I had about their procedures, he answered clearly and right away. After the PPI was done Rob called and ran me through every little bit of the very detailed report. As a car guy speaking to other car guys, I know buying a car from across the United States can feel a little scary, but Rob made it feel like I was working with my trusted local shop. I used to go to Car Tender when I lived in Capitol Hill and they were located there. I sadly relied on the dealership and other local mechanics before I moved further north and closer to their newer Shoreline location. I am so glad to call them my mechanic of choice again! It's such a breath of fresh air connecting with mechanics that LOVE what they do, and are truly engaged in helping you think through the right choices. They really act as advisors, and I trust them to guide me to do the "Must Do" tasks and help me de-prioritize the "It Can Wait" tasks.

I have been going to Car Tenders since I bought my 323ci in 2006. They are a great team of customer service reps and technicians.

They did everything thing that needed to be done and they also did a couple of extra things that we didn't have to pay them for that was really nice thank you Rob and David
