I brought my car in for front-end work and they informed me that the problem was instead the brake job done by someone else. They lost the front-end work, but they gained my respect.

John and the crew at Car-tender are simply the best. Knowledgeable, considerate, and go out of their way to be helpful. It is the same level of excellent service i have always received today as it was 15 years ago.

Took our second vehicle over to Car Tender after having great luck with car #1. As expected, they did not disappoint. The Car Tender team not only fixed the original problem (bad starter motor), they found the root cause of a dangerous suspension problem that we've had for over a year. To help explain what they found, the team took the time to email over a short video of the mechanic describing and demonstrating the problem under the car. I have NEVER seen a shop shoot a video of the underbelly of the car to explain what was happening. It's always great to work with folks that care that much to take a few extra steps to communicate. Five stars (again) for the team at Car Tender.

Overall I'm very happy with the outcomes I get from Car Tenders. I have a 40-year old car and David's expertise is critical to me after leaving Complete Automotive after many long years. However, there is clear room for improvement. 1. It is saddening that I get a survey for a < $100 oil change for our Miata but I do not get a survey for a $10,000 almost 4-month long servicing of my 1979 300D. 2. I was surprised by some costs on my last $10,000 service of my 300D. Surprises should never happen. I think the costs were reasonable but I want to know what something is going to cost before I agree to the work. 3. I have learned that I need to call Car Tenders twice daily (2 x per day) if I do not want delays in my repairs. I understand that it takes a long time to get some parts, but it should not take days to get responses, get estimates, get answers, etc. Furthermore, commitments around getting back to me are consistently missed. I end of upset with myself because "I know better" and I did not follow up every day. My last servicing (I believe Feb. 7th through approx. May 26th) likely could have been done in a lot shorter time if Car Tenders was more responsive/proactive and/or I remembered to follow up daily on status and next steps and then follow up on the status of those next steps daily. But, honestly, I hate having to do that. I know this looks poorly on one (wonderful and capable) person, but I wonder if Car Tenders is not under-staffed.

I have come to them with numerous problems with my old Prius and they are very helpful and honest with diagnosis. Honest and upfront with the cost, I feel like I can trust Car Tender to have my best interest at heart. Its great to have a 2 years guarentee on the work and parts! I am a Bar Tender and I can recoment Car Tender!

Car Tender was recommended by our Mechanic of 20 years when they were not able to solve a problem with our Mercedes ML-550. I really appreciate the fact that the Car Tender team took their time to truly diagnose the root of the problem, solve all aspects of that problem and then test it out overnight. They were methodical and didn't rush. I'm happy enough that I already dropped off another car (Mercedes S-class) and will soon be bringing in my mother-in-law's SL convertible. Great service at a reasonable price that was estimated and reviewed before any work took place.
