I was hesitant to take my car here because of all the bad yelp reviews, so for a while I went through the hassle of taking my car to a shop on the east side. However when my car's alternator died, we decided to take a risk and just had it towed here. I am very glad we did -- we had nothing but positive experience here. They fixed the car, quickly and, as far as a can tell, with high quality. Furthermore, when we were picking it up, my sweetie discovered a nail in her tire, and they were very nice to look into it, and to get us air. All while being very helpful and very polite. All in all, I am very happy with this place, and will use it the Primary Care mechanic for my car.

Took my car in when the cable that ran from my starter to the batter melted on my exhaust header. Pros: The customer service was really good. I was dropped off and when the final repair was done they even drove it to my work. I'm assuming that's not something they did for everyone. More about that later. Price for labor was about average for this area and the repairs were done quickly. Cons: I had to take the car back right after driving it off because the starter (which they had to take off to get to the cable) was incorrectly aligned and making a grinding noise when starting the car. Not sure how they missed this when they started the car and drove it out to me. To their credit though, they did remedy the situation by giving me a ride back to work and dropping my car off at my work when they finished the repairs. They also didn't charge me anything for the second repair. I got the feeling they were decently honest and didn't mean for the car to have any other problems. I work on cars frequently (I couldn't work on this one because it broke down at 5 a.m. on I-5) and I had a good indication of the problem before taking it in. They diagnosed the problem correctly and were honest about the problem and the repair. Overall, not a bad shop I suppose. Could have better quality control when letting cars go out the door. It looks like they work on a lot of cars but have good intentions at heart. I gave it 3 stars but I feel closer to 3.5.

This shop is where the car guys go. Guys like me that have race cars, bmw's land rovers, and all other types of cars. They do a very comprehensive inspection but don't try to hard sell you the work. I've known them for 10-15 years, so this is not a one time visit oblivious to reality review. They say this is what you need, and let you decide what you want to spend. So many shops tell you it's $xxx $1000sunds and make it sound like you have to spend all of that to get your car back. These guys are honest they don't do this, and use the highest quality parts, they are fair on the labor. I can tell you they are not the cheapest but they are the one of best. Ask yourself this. Do you want it fixed right the first time or do you want it cheap.

This is the second time I've brought my car into Car Tender. Each time I have been blown away by how honest and friendly the shop has been. Particularly Eric in service, he went out of his way to explain what I needed and how it was going to be done. My car now purrs thanks to you~ I'll be back (hopefully later that sooner!)

They are a rip off. They will claim you need 'other' services once they have your car. When you asked to see the 'broken' piece or worn piece that they are replacing they claim it was accidentally thrown away.

This place is the cat's meow of German car repair. I have taken all my cars here since 2003. Including VW, Audi, Land Rover, BMW and Volvo. I have not taken my F250 here. However i am sure it would be welcomed. They have completed every repair beyond my expectations. They know how to think outside the box. My car is repaired the way I want it done. With having a good idea of what is coming in the future. Special attention is always given to what seems like every car there. Every car is washed and parked just so. If you have been looking for European specialist in the downtown area. I strongly suggest giving them a shot.

What a fantastic experiance!!! My wife and daughter were in seattle after having drove off of the pass where the SUV was giving them brake trouble. I was reffered to Car Tenders thru a friend who know the right people in the area. Patrick took my call and then worked my family in on a moments and inspected the vehicle, corrected the simple issue and sent them out the door with a freshly washed vehicle!!! Thank you so much!!! Really surprised to see the negative reviews, I took my battered old BMW e12 here for years. Even though my car had to be the worst example of a bimmer they had been unfortunate enough to work on, they always treated me like I had just rolled up in an e30 M3. Never did any work without a really good explanation of why they had to do it, approved everything with me before they did it. They also were good about understanding what was worth fixing and what wasn't given the er.. limited value of my car. When it was finally beyond help, I felt like they actually shared my grief at it's passing. Very nice people who are good at what they do.Is this the cheapest place to get your car fixed? No, it really isn't. Don't go here for an oil change or simple repairs, their time is too expensive for stuff like that. Are they the guys you want doing the important major repairs to your BMW? Yes. They will do it right and not cut corners.
