Something is weird with the electric locking system in my VW. Rather than do a big, expensive diagnostic, CarTender suggested we start by changing the battery in the key (which they did for under $10) and see how that works. I don't know yet whether that will fix things but I love the approach. Thanks, folks!

I am very impressed with the care I was provided at Car Tender. I called last minute and they were able to check my car out to determine whether it is safe to drive. They were upfront about the problem and cost. I had to take the train to work the next day and was late to pick up my car (past closing time). They were patient and waited. And the check up was very detailed and the report was explained in a very easy to understand manner. There was no pressure to fix anything unless it is crucial. Service was excellent and I will not hesitate coming back to Car Tender at any time.

Did my 2000 528i. I was surprised they only charged half an hour of shop time to replace a MAF pipe. Seattle places can gouge you but not here. Courtesy inspection was informative and accurate. This is an icon of 12th Ave. I remember my friend going here in the mid 90s and it was an icon then.
