Great team with a real passion for delivering quality service for customers. Deeply knowledgeable about work on classics (in particular BMW e30). Welcoming and inclusive whether new to the car community or been around a while. Highly recommend.

I just wanna say these guys have GREAT customer service AND GREAT salesmen etiquette. 10/10 WOULD recommend for getting them to sale Raid to a bug. As far as pricing and business practices…. I’m not so sure. I got hit with the old bait & switch. I’ll try to make this short. I called in and made an appt for which I thought would be a diagnostic because that’s the wording I used on the phone on top of a 3rd cylinder coil change and tuneup. The person that worked with me informed me hed set me for an appt and I could bring the car in for a “courtesy check” (here I should’ve asked what a courtesy check was) to see what I needed done along with the work I asked to be performed which was a tuneup and a coil change. We both agreed that they’d do the courtesy check(me thinking it’s a diagnostic, I was very clear about my wording “diagnostic”) and work on what was needed to get the car back in good driving condition and get the other work done one at a time. But that is not at all what happened when I went in. Long story short. I went and waited about 45 mins for them to give me what I like to call a “jiffylube check up”: lights, fluids, air in tires barely any attention to what I actually came in for. When they were done “looking” at the car I asked about the coil change and tuneup with no definitive answer but a reply of “I’ll see what the work is going to cost then will send you the quotes” he sent me a quote about 2/3 hours later of 2000.00. I’m not even going to mention the amount tacked on for the prices on the part markups. I mean I get you gotta make your money but a 100% price markup is crazy not to mention the labor-work per hour of 247.39 if I were to supply my own parts. If im not mistaken if they supplied the parts the labor still is close to 247.39 an hour… I asked about the courtesy check and if it included a obd scan at least, they said no. All I wanted was a 3rd cylinder coil change and a tuneup to get my car back in good driving condition, the other stuff I wanted to get done one by one. Let’s just say I’m still looking for a mechanic. Someone please message me with recommendations. Thank you!

I had an outstanding experience with Car Tender for a pre-purchase inspection on a complex BMW i8. Rob Leary provided fantastic communication, walking me through their incredibly thorough and transparent report. Their inspection was worth every penny for the peace of mind, offering honest, reasonable recommendations without any pressure. I wouldn't buy a used car without them and highly recommend their services.

I’ve taken my 2018 Audi S5 Prestige to Cartender twice now. First time was when my car emptied its oil in my garage due to a faulty oil sensor seal and the second time was for my cylinders mis-firing. Both repairs were extensive and took multiple days but what i love about Cartender is their personable, thorough experience when you get the car checked in. The service techs (Rob and Paolo) are super friendly and John is very knowledgeable. Best part is that he doesn’t get too technical but breaks things down to digestible bites so you’re not lost in the areas of repair based on the cost you want to spend on your vehicle. One of the most honest shops I been in and if you care about your car then you’ll appreciate some honesty when it comes to the repairs as they can get costly! They don’t force you on any of the repairs once the inspection and quoting is done so it’s really up to you to decide what repairs you want. You really have to experience the shop for yourself in order to understand how they work. It’s like your best friend working on your car! They’re so awesome!
